Promptly does not create an account and does not use tracking or third-party analytics. This page is about the Promptly app, not other sites.

Scripts

Your scripts stay on this device. When you are signed in to iCloud, title, body, and dates sync through your private iCloud. They are not linked to a Promptly identity — there isn’t one. Scripts work offline.

What is not collected

• Audio recordings
• Speech transcripts
• Contacts, location, financial information, or browsing history
• Diagnostics or usage analytics beyond what Apple may collect as part of the system

Microphone

Used only when Voice Follow is turned on. Speech is processed on this device. Promptly does not store, upload, or sync microphone audio or transcripts. First use may download an on-device language model.

External controls

Controller mode may appear as Now Playing so a media remote can send play, pause, and skip commands. Promptly plays silence for this purpose and does not record or upload audio. Keyboard, game-controller, and volume-button inputs stay on this device.

External display

When a TV or monitor is connected, Promptly can show only the script on that display. The script is rendered on this device and presented through AirPlay or a cable. Promptly does not upload the session.

What does not sync

Settings, prompting preferences, audio, and transcripts do not sync. Only script title, body, dates, and Bin state go through your private iCloud when it is available.
